What You Should Know

Handling produce requires a commitment to safety. We realize many of you eat our produce raw or lightly cooked. We follow GAP guidelines to keep our produce as safe as we can.
Some of the practices we use to help you:
We wear disposable gloves when picking
We use soap and water after using the restroom,(no brainer)
We disinfect our picking bins and cooler
We test our water source
We do not have water run-off from livestock
We do not use raw manure, (composted manure per NOP rules is allowed)
We use appropriate post harvest temperatures & management
Our produce is field rinsed. It is your responsibility to thoroughly wash the produce before eating. This is common sense!
